Store settings
Languages and translations
Choose the storefront language and translate catalogue content deliberately.
Where to go
Admin → Settings → Languages; translation actions on supported records
What to do
- 01
Enable the languages you want to offer and choose the default language in Store preferences.
- 02
Use the language switcher to verify interface labels and right-to-left layout where applicable.
- 03
Use translation actions for supported categories, brands, attributes, benefits, coupons and products.
- 04
Review banners, policy text and any content that is not automatically translated by the interface language.
What you should see
Customers can select an enabled interface language. Content translations depend on the relevant record and supported translation fields.
Good to know
- Choose from the languages offered on the screen you are using. The website and mobile app may offer different language lists.
- Changing the interface language does not automatically translate product descriptions or policy pages. Add those translations in admin where available.
Need help?
- An item remains in English? Add its content translation; a language switch is not automatic machine translation.
- A language is missing? Check its active status and the language-switch preference.
